There has been a lot of meet ups with penuntut-penuntut Brunei di University Warwick this week. First sungkai at Nandos on Wednesday, where we occupied the whole top part of the bus on the way back (I don't have the photos), then on Friday, after class me and Connie went to Coventry town to shop.. for more than 3 hours! And then my left big toe nail came off! Hahaha. Afterwards we went to Sze Nee's place to meet up with everyone else and made a video for Raya in our Malay clothes. We then slept over at their place, played Cluedo&Monopoly. Then they brought us to Ikea/Birmingham by train the next day.
Coming up on Wednesday, it's potluck and also some people khatam at Sze Nee's place. There is about 20 Bruneians here. Then another meet-up on the eve of Raya. Then it's that BSU Raya gathering at Dorchester on the 27th. And then we're going to Lufbra in November to have friendly netball and football matches.
That's Gosford Hall, Westwood Campus, followed by the wonders of Autumn, Connie in Ramphal Building Lecture Theatre and everybody else (there's 450 of us in Business School and the theatre is too small!). The guy with a funky hairstyle. My free goodies from WBS. A rock candy which says "Warwick Library Rocks" and the swimming pool at the Warwick Sports Centre.
In the bus on the way to Coventry, the well-patterned rubix cube, Krispy Kreme in Birmingham (I bought six and I'm left with 3 in a day.. Haha). My half toe-nail-ess BIG TOE. Students Union and more of Autumn.
Me and Connie asyik shopping saja since Friday.. though today resting. Then because we joined the Spore Society, they're going to bring us to an awesome shopping place too! Hahaha.
Added: While getting our clothes and going to each other's campus on Friday night (in pj's!) we saw a dead squirrel which fell right on its face on the grass. Kamilla thought it was a glove and was tempted to pick it up haha. Yea, from Connie's room, she changed to pj's and we walked to Kam's room and both in pj's walked to my place. I bet the taxi driver was wondering what the hell were these weird Asians wearing pj's outside for. Haha.
