"Biskal! Biskal!"$BlogItemTitle$>
I meant to make an inspirational post but it's almost 1am and I just don't feel inspired. Anyway. Have you ever had a moment/phase in your life where you realise that we should really save electricity and use more of the reusable energy? Have you ever acted on that thought?
The thought of wanting to save energy is already "memadai" as the Bruneians would say. The cost of maintaining an environmentally friendly and energy-saving lifestyle is a lot of money, though ironically you are also saving money haha. Recycling is priceless and you feel a lot better when you do, a lot better. Saving trees!
Last night, I was on my bike with a few others from Tasek to where the Sultan was sitting for the tanglong.

The whole thing was so cool. I felt like a celebrity. I mean I feel like what I think celebrities feel like. Kids were waving, people were taking photos. The only thing I didn't like about it was how the whole thing was slowly moving so we didn't really get to cycle. It was more like posing on our bikes so that kids could say "biskal! biskal!" while the not so little kids would say "phewit, minjam biskal ah". Hence, a bum-ache. But I hope our message went across to the population.
So, do your part :D
And so we met. Finally! Nads, Rabia, Liana and Linie, wished you guys were there!
Look at Mali! :p Watsap Karipap!
Rach's last day in Brunei til October :(
I went to netball practice after our lunch, which didn't last long because it started to rain heavily. Anyway, then I had to go to Warwick pre-departure briefing at Rizqun which turned out to be better than I expected, it was nice to see the potential BruWickians. Towards the night, we decided to go to Swenson's to surprise a fellow Warwickian, Angeline, with a birthday cake. Hehe.
I had a nice weekend. Busy and nice weekend. Another good week ahead filled with lots of activities! Haha.
